Rick Bone grew up in Birmingham, Michigan. He graduated from Seaholm High School in 1984. He earned a BA in Economics and Business from Albion College in 1988. Rick has continued his education in the fields of finance and retirement planning, earning multiple certifications and honors during his 34-year career.
Rick and his wife Sheryl have been married for 30 years. They have three children and three rescued dogs named Chewbacca, Nelson Mandela III, and Piper, the one-eared chihuahua. Rick is an active supporter of the ARTS community in the city of Detroit, serving on the Finance Committee of the DIA and holding Board positions at the Scarab Club and the Heidelberg Project.
Rick has a passion for football and spent years coaching at Holy Family Regional School. During his eight years as Head Coach, he led his team to multiple division championships. In his final year of coaching, his team won Holy Family’s first-ever CYO Championship – a defining moment in his youth football coaching career.
As a Registered Investment Advisor, Rick has been helping people with financial services for over 34 years. He is keenly aware of his professional, legal, and fiduciary responsibilities. Rick values his professional relationships and prioritizes the moral obligation to act in the best interest of his clients.
Carl joined Bone Asset Management full-time in 2017 when he moved from Chicagoland to Michigan. Carl and Rick met in 1994 when they were living and working in Chicago. Rick dubbed him “Hoss” and the nickname stuck. Many people only know him by Hoss. Carl has been in the financial services/insurance business ever since 1994. His role at Bone Asset is Chief Operating Officer. He assures the office runs smoothly and assists Rick in writing and building Retirement Financial Plans.
Carl lives with his fiancée Heather in Ypsilanti. Together they love traveling, having dinner parties, and going on mini adventures. Outside of work, Carl enjoys his current hobbies including pickleball, guitar, deer hunting, gardening and lawn care, exercising and rucking, cooking and entertaining, and filming videos for his YouTube cooking channel “Hossy’s Kitchen”.
Nastazia Awadish grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan with her parents and three siblings. Nastazia attended Sterling Heights High School and earned a BS in Business Management at Wayne State University in 2020. She continued her education to earn a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State in 2022.
Nastazia has one dog, a Maltipoo named Simba. During Nastazia’s free time – she enjoys hiking the Paint Creek Trail in Rochester Hills. If she is not hiking when the weather is warm, she is binge-watching her favorite TV shows: Breaking Bad and Friends, or watching her favorite movies: The Departed and The Great Gatsby.
Professionally, Nastazia has been in the customer service industry for over 10 years. Her goal is to grow into an advisor role with Bone Asset Management. Nastazia enjoys helping people and through her work, and hopes she can have an impact on their lives.
Tina’s loving husband Kenny once told her, “Great things never come from comfort zones.” Tina uses this as motivation to contribute to the growth of Bone Asset Management and pushes herself to embark upon new professional challenges. Tina’s goal is to serve clients and provide them with a great experience.
Tina began her career as a post-closing mortgage associate at a large bank in 2010, where she developed a deep appreciation for the role of financial advisors. After a brief break to raise her three children, she returned to full-time work as Controller for a boutique law firm. In 2022, after years of crossing paths with Rick, she joined Bone Asset Management as Manager of Operations.
In her role, Tina oversees new account applications, coordinates with compliance, handles transactions, and ensures smooth day-to-day operations. She prides herself on managing every detail to make the team’s and clients’ lives easier.
